Brake circuit disconnect Jeep Wrangler JL

Just traded in my 2015 Wrangler JK for a 2020 Wrangler JL. I'm using the Readybrute tow bar again. I ordered the plug and play wiring harnesses for the Jeep's brake/signal lights and I'm getting ready to install them. NSA (Readybrute) recommends adding a Brake Signal Disconnect so that the Jeep's brake lights don't override the signal coming from the motorhome's lights. I did that on the JK and didn't have an issue. But, it looks like the brake light wiring on the JL is more complicated. Has anyone added a brake signal disconnect (it's a relay) to their JL? If so, where did you add it and which wire did you use to connect to the relay?

Thanks

I just used the harness from Mopar. Everything built in, plug and play, but not cheap.

Later ...

I looked at the Mopar harness. I ended up with the Curt plug and play harness. The brake disconnect is to prevent the Jeep brake lights from overriding the signal light power from the RV.

The Mopar harness wasn't yet available when I was setting mine up, so I went with the CoolTech harness. Installation wasn't plug-and-play, but it wasn't all that difficult. It has been working flawlessly and does have a switch to keep the signals separate.

Can't speak to the harness you mention, I too used the Cooltec harness. Follow the directions (I also found a U-Tube video on the install), take your time. Not difficult, relatively easy access to the connection point (remove a couple of interior trim panels) and less than 1/2 the cost of the Mopar harness.
