Freightliner can't give a good location for diode as this diode has been upgraded due to its failure in the past. I'm at a campground in AZ and don't want to travel with no brake lights.

Well DSharpe,
This is kind-a interesting to me. The reason is, we too have an '04 Itasca Horizon only, ours is a 36GD with the CAT C-7 330HP. Since our coach lights and toad lights (5 different toads in 10 years) have all worked flawlessly for those 10 years, I'm also interested in where these "diodes" are. I know right where the fuses etc. for the trailer plug are but, I'm not sure I've even heard of a diode or diodes in the system. Maybe I can dig around in the wiring diagrams and find something.
