I have recently purchased a 2008 Saturn VUE and have an SMI Silent Partner converted to a Smartbox . This was installed and since removed from a Ford Ranger. It appears that installing it in the VUE will not be simple nor desireable. I am considering an Air Force One system. What can you tell me about it? Likewise, if you know about installing the Smartbox in a 2008 VUE, please explain.

I can't help you with the Silent Partner, but I've installed the Air Force One on my 2006 jeep liberty and am very satisfied with the system. I had SMI install it on both the jeep and the motor home since I was in the Evansville area.

Hang on, I'm sure others will respond but if you need help with the Silent Partner, call SMI and they will help you. They answered all my questions and spent considerable time on the phone with me while I was making my decision on which brake system to purchase.

CDale......I installed the SMI Air Force One on my Monaco coach and Dodge Dakota. I'm very happy with the system. It has the three things that were important to me. 1st - The air line from the coach will shut down if there is a break away. 2nd - There is an indicator light on my dash that tells me when the toad brakes are operating. 3rd - There is a break away on the toad that applies the brakes if the toad separates from the coach.
