Braking system for jeep wrangler

I have a 2021 jeep wrangler and need to find a good braking system for it. I currently have the Blue Ox Patriot 3 . Some where between Cal and NC it locked up the jeeps brakes and burned them up. $1000.00. I've had the Invisi brake system on another jeep years ago and every time I stopped I could smell the brakes burning. I even eventually had to spend $1500.00 replacing everything on those brakes. Is there a fail proof system that is on the market for a jeep?

I use the NSA ready Brute II myself and have had no problems with it on my Jeep wrangler. It's an all mechanical system with no electronics to fail.

I've had a Brakemaster on my 2005 Jeep GC since 2010. No issues with it but you have to remove after towing, it is an air cylinder that works off the coaches air brakes.

I just bought a 2015 Jeep Cherokee and was set up with an RVi3 brake. It does come with the wireless monitor and alert if there is a braking problem. Many people have very positive opinions on the brake. I have not used it yet but I have HIGH hopes.

Another vote for the NSA ReadyBrake. Full on braking on a hard stop, but will never lock up your toad's wheels. Slow stop or steady down hill, it'll not even apply your brakes.

I am really impressed with mine after wrestling with a Brake Buddy for years,

What are you driving? If it has air brakes look at something air brake compatible such as the M&G system or AirForce One. Doesn’t get any simpler than these systems. One hose connection and you’re done.
If you have hydraulic brakes the Ready Brute or Ready Brake systems work great also. Anything but a floor robot unit if you want simplicity, mostly proportional braking and reliability. Don’t forget to include a breakaway system with your installation.

For about 3-1/2 years I’ve been using an RViBrake 3 system, along with their Towed Battery Charger Plus For Flat Towing on my 2021 2-door Wrangler Sport.

The brake unit is relatively small and light weight with setup pretty easy. The Command Center tablet display shows when and how much the brakes are being applied. There are also configuration settings to choose from to such as brake pressure depending on the size/type of towed vehicle and normal braking or panic stop only.

The Towed Battery Charger shows the battery voltage, charging voltage, and the charging current on the Command Center tablet display. At the end of a day’s driving, the Wrangler’s battery has always been charged.

With about 10,000+ miles of towing I haven’t experienced an occurrence of unwanted or stuck braking.

Ours came with Rvi3 system and toad charging, and coach leveling. Leveling not impressed, have not gotten charger to pair with tablet but I think it is working, and the brake system works good. Brake system seems less than high tech but good review on this post so far and works for us???

NSA ReadyBrute since 2006. Currently on a 2021 Wrangler. The Wrangler was the easiest install of any car/suv I've done prior.
