Just curious. It's an all wheel drive car so I'm guessing no.

Maybe, it depends on the transmission, and possibly the year.

The 2007 with a manual transmission can be towed, but the automatic cannot.

MOTORHOME MAGAZINE has the list of towable vehicles from 2002 to 2008.

However, if your Outback is not towable, REMCO TOWING may be able to help.

Send a message via ICQ to W8RLM
Stop by a Subaru dealer and check the owner's manual. That will be the factory's opinion and will govern their warranty considerations.

Remco may have an alternate solution like a transmission pump.

The standard trany can be towed. Not the automatic. I tow a Forester.

A 2008 Outback with manual tranny can be towed 4 down. This is per the FMCA 2008 towing guide.

We tow a 2008 Outback w manual tranny. No problems, Roadmaster brackets are hidden as are the air & electrical connections (behind front license plate). Looks great as it is used as my commuter car & absolutely does not look modified when looking at the front.
