Can I flat tow my For Escape

I,m wanting to flat tow a 2002 Ford Escape AWD. Can anyone tell me if this is doable or not?

No it is not able to be towed with 4 wheel down on the ground.

That's a bummer. I was hoping I could flat tow it, we flat tow a 2008 malibu right now, but its kind of like riding in a go cart.

I have seen in the FMCA towing guide that some earlier models were but I'm not so sure now for I have never seen any being towed. I know the newer later models are not in that guide.

This is why I like this forum, there is sooo much knowledge here. Thanks for the help once again. It must be towed on a tow dolly according to Remco, and that's good enough for me.

In 2002 the automatic transmissions have not evolved to a point that they can be towed with all 4 wheels down and in neutral.
