What’s the tow rating on your hitch?

What is your rated towing capacity?

I found a weight of 4,007 lbs on Chevys web site. By the time you add a trailer, you may not even be able to carry a lunch box.

Regardless of both of the above, a blazer and a trailer is enough load that you’ll probably be miserable on even minor hills.

A 4-up trailer is a nice thing to have - gives you extra capabilities to bring things along with you. But they are a minimum of 1200 lbs and average more like 1700-2000 lbs... With the weight of the truck on top, that's going to be an unhappy RV in most circumstances. You may want to think about a smaller truck or a larger RV, that is even if your RV has the tow rating for that. You'd need a minimum class 3 hitch, probably a class 4.

Hi Jim
My thoughts went right to why not tow it four down instead of using a trailer?
I'm of the impression the Blazer is OK to tow four down. Otherwise, I agree with others it's more weight than I would want to tow including a trailer.

There are campgrounds where you have to disconnect your trailer and park it somewhere else.

Try rolling the trailer you want to buy around the parking lot.
