Carrying a Club Car Precedent in a Gladiator

I have seen a photo of one in the bed of a Gladiator, but does anyone actually do it. I use a sheet of 3/4" plywood, reinforced with 2x4s in my Sierra; so the load is spread over the bed and off the tailgate. I've measured the Gladiator's bed; so I know it will fit.

Jean wants more proof before we buy a Gladiator. I don't want to make a 50K mistake.

Gladiator is a little light for that IMO. The rear wheels have to be on the edge of the tailgate. A good dip at 60 could send everything tumbling out the back and really booger up your Jeep.

I have one I put in the back of my F250, but I can tie it down and close the tailgate.

I've seen the picture on the Jeep Gladiator Forum. The back wheels are right on the end of the tailgate. Although the Club Car would be slightly under the max payload of the Gladiator, I wouldn't flat tow with one in the bed of mine.

I have a club car and a gladiator. Mine isn't lifted (neither jeep of cart) and there is no way I'd try to flat tow it with the cart in it (if it will even fit). I doubt the tailgate would last long at all with the cart bouncing on it. Depending on the gladiator you only have about 1000#'s payload. That's without the tow bar setup and brake system. Add that in and payload goes down further.
