Changing from 2011 Sierra to 2022 (limited) Silverado

My Sierra just needed to have the transfer case in neutral but the Silverado says to disconnect the negative battery cable. I think the GMs have been like this since the 2014 model. The 2022 (Limited not the all new 2022 coming later) should be the same as the last few years.
I know I can put a switch in to shut it all off, but is the a circuit which can be isolated instead? This one will have all the safety stuff, like lane keeper, emergency braking etc. if that makes a difference.

I have a 2021 Silverado, I disconnect the battery, there is too much on it any more - the emergency braking being the scariest part of that. If that becomes active while towing, no good could come of that.
