Chevy Astro van as Toad

Currently setting up my old ‘89 Astro van as a 2nd toad behind our Motorhome.
Anyone else use this model as a toad and have any input or suggestions for me?
After shopping for tow brackets(which are either NLA or backordered for an eternity) decided to make my own to fit my Blue Ox that we use on the ‘19 Canyon. Was a simple task and has removable mounts that the bar manufacturers did not offer for my model.
Thanks for any input.

I do not think that the Astro was towable 4 down with the automatic. It will need a driveshaft disconnect.

True!
I will be removing the driveshaft when towing. Only plan to tow long distances with no stops which would require to unhook the toad and reinstall the driveshaft.
May possibly get a driveshaft disconnect, if we continue to tow it and use it for quick stops along our routes. It should make a great tow vehicle/enclosed trailer for hauling our stuff to our next home we will be building soon. Thanks
