Compatibility?? '07 - '11 Honda CRV EX-L and M&G Brake System

After much reading of forums and talking with other folks, I guess I've reached the conclusion that our toad will be as follows:
  • Honda '07 - '11 CRV EX-L
  • BlueOx Aventa™ LX towbar
    • Brake-away option
  • M&G brake system
  • The TOAD-CHARGE™
I'm searching local sources for an EX-L that meets the DM's color specs now but I'm really going to hate giving up my Lexus RX-330

I haven't seen any posts that comment specifically about the compatibility (fit) of the M&G system into the CRV engine compartment. Does anyone have experience with this configuration who cares to comment about "problem areas" or "gotchas".

Also, I'm still "on the fence" regarding the best approach for the toad running/brake/signal lite system (tie in to the CRV electrical system and use blocking diodes or run separate wiring and install separate lites in the CRV rear light housings [either incadescent or LED]). Any strong arguments either way would be appreciated.

If you "really" hate giving up your Lexus but need something towable, look at the new Jeep Grand Cherokees. I just bought one 3 months ago and it has all of the luxury you could ever want in the overland model plus it's 4 down towable. You can't however use the M&G with it as their system will not fit. I prefer the M&G since I've used it on my previous toads and it's a great system. I'll probably end up with the AF1 on this unit.

One caveat, the JGC "is" heavy at around 5000lbs, not sure what the CRV wieghs.
