Been there done that. My problem was that we have a 2005 Jeep GC with the transfer case recall issue where sometimes it won't go into neutral. Only cure is to pull a fuse in one of the fuse panel under the hood, after doing that I was so PO'd that I forgot and left the emergency brake on. When I got home found what I had done and also the thump thump of flat spot tires.

Was at a campground ~2 weeks ago and the neighbor had pulled out with toad in drive, all 4 wheels skidding, luckily in gravel. He quickly stopped after ~75 ft and fixed the problem and drove off, don't know if he had any damage.

Well, at least you know your parking brake works....

I have a sign I hang on the motorhome steering wheel whenever we park somewhere with the toad. It says simply, "CAR CHECK". I am thinking about posting another sign in the toad as a checklist: Steering column unlocked, gearshift in Neutral, brake off, lights off.
As I get older I don't remember things as well as I used to.

I stopped a guy leaving the rv park in Branson last month.. Was dragging out of the space that was gravel and then a couple hundred feet maybe on asphalt.. Glad he looked in his rear view mirror and saw me flagging him down..
