$3100 for everything to set up our 2018 Wrangler 2 years ago

Blue ox base plate $600
Blue ox Avail 10k tow bar $700
RVI brake $1200
Wire harness for brake lights and blinkers on Jeep and 12v plug for brake $100
Installation ($125 / hr) $500

total --- $3100

All work was completed at a local, privately owned RV shop that had done this work hundreds of times. Would only install parts purchased thru them.

All prices are estimated as I don't remember exactly....
But I do remember that total!

Good Luck!

Here’s what we paid about 3 months ago to set up our 2017 JKU:

Ready Brute Elite Tow Bar with Blue Ox Clevis - $1150.00
ReadyStop Towed Vehicle Break Away - $97.99
Hopkins 56200 Jeep Towed Vehicle Wiring Kit - $52.95
Blue Ox BX1126 Base Plate - $414.52
SUBTOTAL: $1715.46

Installation of base plate - $300

TOTAL $2015.46

All the parts were ordered from rvupgrades.com and there was no shipping charge or tax added. Other than the base plate installation I did all the work myself. I ended removing the Hopkins wiring harness after the first trip because I find it easier to use my old set of magnetic tail lights. With the Ready Brute system, and the magnetic tail lights there is no electrical connection to the Jeep.
