Most folks average about 62-65 mph no matter the combination of MH and toad.
What is the goal of your question?

  • 2011 Newmar Essex
  • 2013 Honda CRV EX AWD
  • ~62 MPH (This seems to be the "knee in the curve" for best fuel mileage.

1999 Fleetwood Discovery ISB 275 HP
2014 MKS EcoBoost AWD 365 HP 4,400 lb
Cruise at 55-58 MPH I like the 10 MPG that speed gets me.

Retired and never in a hurry to get there, wherever that is.

We tow a 2013 Honda CRV AWD. We drive 60 MPH on all except secondary 2-lane roads, then we drive 55 or whatever the traffic will allow!

We will be first time towing a 4 down next week. My thought was a comfortable speed would be in that 62 mpg range. We'll be in the right lane most of the way.
I wondered what others do.

Combo is in my signature. I tow 60 on 2 lanes and 65 on 4 lanes. My rig doesn't want to shift to 6th gear below 60. I had to deal with this going through a small corner of California.

2010 Fleetwood Dicovery 40X
Tow 24ft Aluma trailer with 2010 Jeep Wrangler loaded (72ft front to back)
Cruise at whatever speedlimit is +5mph, seems normal is either 70mph or 75mph on interstates.
