Demco Stay and Play on Pontiac Vibe/Toyota Matrix

There is old thread about Pontiac Vibes as Toads but IVR2 suggested that it might be better to start with a new thread, so here goes:

There were a number of model years of this car (2003-2008 at least). Mine is 2004 Vibe.

I think it will be a great toad. It rolls well, is aerodynamic, and has a light curb weight (2700lbs).

I want to use the Demco Stay and Play Duo breaking system. Does anyone have experience with this system on this car (or the Toyota Matrix)? If so, here are my questions:

1) Where is/was the Demco operating unit mounted in the engine compartment? I'm thinking about mounting it to the engine cover.

2) And this is the BIG one: Where and how did you mount the actuating cylinder cable to the fire wall?. I'm concerned that I don't puncture the brake booster with the self tapping screw(s). The booster is right in front of the brake pedal on the fire wall If you have a picture to post or to private message me, that would be great.

Thanks

One question before you get too far, is your Vibe/Matrix manual transmission or automatic?
