Demco Stay-IN-Play DUO vs RVibrake Shadow

Setting up our first Toad (2023 Wrangler) this spring.
I had pretty much decided on the Demco, then saw an ad for the Shadow.
Any feedback on choosing between the two? I did see a concerning thread here about a Wrangler with the Shadow applying the brakes while driving (not being towed).
Thanks!

Not sure about the Shadow but we have had the stay and play for 5 years in our toad. Have had zero issues with it.

Works great and like the fact that I can adjust the amount of feedback before the brakes activate.

The RVI Shadow appears to be a new system, very similar to the Demco Stay-and-Play duo in install/function/operation. It has some nice features. We've had the Demco Stay-and-Play for two years and 18,000 miles of towing. Install was pretty easy. In operation I just flip a switch to turn it on/off during the connect/disconnect of the toad. The Demco works very well for us.

FWIW, I'm guessing that the issue with the Shadow applying the brakes while driving may be due to not properly adjusting the the G-force controller in the Shadow. You should probably ask their tech support about this issue. In the Demco system, the G-force controller must be adjusted with both the RV and toad hooked up and on LEVEL ground. This is critical to correct operation.
