Not familiar with Danco Transmission. Only Google hit I got was a transmission repair shop somewhere in Ohio. They seem to have decent reviews, but not sure I'd use them as the authority on being able to flat tow a particular vehicle.
I found this on-line, from Roadmaster. No Subaru on the list.

Is towing indicated in the owner's manual. Been a long time. I seem to recall that some Subarus do not track well towed 4 wheels down. They don't always recover after a turn.

ALL wheel drive is the problem.
Normally they can't be flat towed.

Subaru stopped approving any of their vehicles for flat towing I believe around 2016 so it will not be addressed in your owners manual or on any of the dinghy towing guides. However, there has been no substantive change in their drivetrain mechanics pertaining to manual transmission AWD Subaru products. I believe they have now discontinued manual transmissions on all but the WRX and the BRZ from what I can remember.
But YES, your 2022 Crosstrek with a manual transmission is definitely flat towable. Many are doing it. As has been mentioned in the post above, both Blue Ox and Roadmaster have baseplates available. 2023 was the last year the Crosstrek was available with a clutch pedal.
I've dinghy towed several older AWD Subaru manual transmission models in the past and they make great toads!

Manufacture's towing recommendations are, today, more often written by attorneys than engineers.

I’ve always told people about flat towing……
If you can’t find the instructions under the heading “Recreational Towing” in your owners manual outlining the specific engine and transmission needed, then you may you have zero recourse if you cause any damage to your vehicle from towing.
No salesperson said it will, will fix things. They just want to sell the car.

If still in factory warranty, totally agree.
If out of warranty....................

My neighbor's son (and wife) have flat-towed their 2021 AWD manual transmission Crosstrek for over 15,000 miles without "messing up" his car and no mechanical problems at all.
The dealer is obligated to say "no" as Subaru's official stance from their corporate office no longer approves any of their vehicles to be flat towed.
I've been told that there has been no substantial change to the drivetrain from 2015 which was the last year that Subaru officially approved the AWD manual transmission Crosstrek to be flat towed behind a motorhome.

A little late to the game here, but...
Our '17 forester has 35,000+ flat towed miles on it.
Keep in mind, as others have said, Subaru stopped supporting this years ago.
We haven't had any issues at all with it. The only reason it is not our main toad any longer, is because me loves me Wrangler.
