does anyone use a demco excali-bar tow bar

I am thinking of buying a demco excalibar II tow bar to pull my 2500 4x4 silverado pickup and am looking for any feedback on it, it has a 10500 lb rating so it should be plenty strong, my truck weighs about 7000 lbs.
I will also be using the demco baseplate and a roadmaster brakemaster w/breakaway, any info would be appreciated.

Excalibur tow bar

Way too late after your post, I bet, but we have the Excalibur rated to 10,000 pounds and have never had any trouble with it. We tow a Jeep Cherokee. I see you're in Clayton and we've looked at the Curry Creek Park as it is close to our grandkids, but a little far out but very pretty!

We have used the Excalibur ll for the last 5 years with no problems here. We have two toads one which is a 08 H2 Hummer that weights about the same as your truck the other is a 2011 GMC Acadia. I have a Demco base plate on the Hummer but I used a Blue Ox base plate on the GMC because of the removable hook ups.

I have been using the Excalibar II for over a year now with no problems. Also Demco baseplate with a Semtry Deflector. Towing a GMC Terrain.
