I disconnected my F 150 once last November, while driving across Texas. The strong winds turned towing the truck into a white knuckle driving experience. I unhooked the truck and my wife drove it for the rest of the day. I could still feel the wind, but definitely a manageable drive, without the truck attached.

Hi Rich,

Thats one thing that concerns me about towing as have never pulled one.

I am lucky to get a couple of MM's from my wife on the road ;-)

But when we stop its beer and grub all round :-)
