E trailer tow bar by Demco

I was looking on Etrailer site at tow bars and see they now offer their own made by Demco. I attached the video review link. It looks like a nice design. Rated on the low side at 6000lbs but I will be towing a 3500lb CRV. Inspecting my current tow bar today I decided it's time for a new one. Way to much slop for a new shim kit in my opinion. Anyone have one of these? I think they are a new release. The other Tow bar I'm considering is the Blue Ox Alpha 2. Rated at 6500 but has the dust covers on the arms which is good. Price is only $50 more for the BO. Might be worth the extra $$ for the dust covers and extra 500lbs rating. Possibly easier to resale if I need to later.

I just saw another thread on this same subject post recently. Sorry that if the moderator want to delete this post it's ok.

That tow bar is nothing more than the Demco Commander tow bar with the e-trailer name on it. Don't get me wrong, it's probably one of the best tow bars made. I have one that's 12 years old and just as tight and solid as the day it was new.

Ok. I just looked at the Commander. No doubt about it. Same unit. Looks pretty nice. I do like the adjustable drop/rise feature built in to the towbar.

This one is tempting me. That's a good price for a 10500lb capacity tow bar. I'm only towing a CRV and occasionally my 5200Lb Tundra so don't need that capacity but the price is pretty sweet.

I couldn't help myself. I felt the deal was very good ($683 plus tax free shipping) for a 10500 Lb. tow bar made by Demco for Etrailer. I bought it today. Right after I purchased it the price increased $66.00. My other Blue Ox Aladdin tow bar rated at 5000 Lbs. is now 18 years old. Might make a good boat anchor.
