I was wondering the same thing. I was wondering if there is a plug for a brake controller. I am guessing not in our older rv's. I was wondering for the Mobley if there was an OBD2 plug

What I find odd is parts geek sells a Hayes quick connect for the brake controller for that year of chassis.

chaddk-

My detailed info doesn't go back that far, but I believe it likely that your coach has a brake controller connector under or inside the dash. The hard part is finding it.

Look under or inside the dash for a 3 x 2 (six pin) connector, with blue, red, green, white and brown wires. In some cases, you'll find the pigtail instead, which has tags on each of the wires. Follow the pigtail into the dash and you'll get to the connector.

It's very likely that the aft end of the brake controller wire is not connected to your hitch connector, for a coach as old as yours. You can find it, though, and extend the wire to the connector.

My '02 chassis F53 had a connector for the brake controller. However, it took quite a bit of searching to come across it. The harness connector ended up being wedged between the steering column and the dash. I only saw it once i pulled the dash beauty ring.

On the backside, the wire was mostly ran for the brake controller. However, the rear blue/brake controller wire was terminated where Thor extended the light wiring to the back of the coach (it had a 6 wire connector). I had to trace back to this connection point and make my own bridge from the ended Ford harness to the new 7 plug connector I was installing.

Good flashlights, patience, and being a contortion artist helps quite a bit in this project.
