We have a 2013 CRV AWD. We like everything except for the road noise. Every Honda we have owned has had that problem!

The wife will not even consider anything except a Honda! We have had several Accords which have been pretty much trouble-free.

I hope this won't jinx anything, but we have ~75,000 miles on our 2014 CR-V and I've yet to have a warranty claim for anything!

A couple of years ago, the windshield washer stopped working, so I brought it into the dealership for what I assumed would be a warranty repair. About an hour later the technician told me that he was sorry but he couldn't bill the "squirrel-chewed" hose replacement under warranty! So far, that's the only problem we've had with it.

Those are becoming fewer and fewer also especially in an SUV or sedan.

Agreed, harder to find, but they still exist. The new Honda Accord sport model has a sweet 6-speed stick and can be flat-towed. Manual transmission Subaru's are available if you look for them. Then, there's always the smaller, lower end cars such as my 2015 Elantra which I keep as a spare, flat-tow car in case something happens to my CR-V

I have just purchased a 2019 Chevy Equinox 2.0L LT to be towed behind the motorhome. Changes in the 2019 Owners Manual expands which ones can be flat towed and gives clearer instructions than the 2018 Manual. Note: the 2.0L gas engine can be flat towed and they recommend charging the battery from the motorhome to the the Toad.

I'd have to double check, but the instructions look the same as for the 2018.

We bought a 2018 Equinox this summer. Towed it first time last week. No problems there, like previous toad you hardly know it's there. We also have a 2013 Malibu which can't be flat towed. The Malibu rides a little better and is quieter than the Equinox. Not a lot better but some. We find the Equinox comfortable, lot's of nice features. Keyless entry, large display with Android Auto/Apple Car Play. Power lift gate, sunroof, etc. It's just the small 1.5 L turbo, FWD but surprisingly it goes better than I thought it would.

As for reliability, well we've only had it for a few months so can't say. I can say our Malibu has been to the dealer 1 time in 5 years. Drain line for AC evaporator was kinked so it was blowing mist out through the vents. That was covered under warranty.
