Have you figured it out yet?
I remember seeing this article a few months ago but didn't pay that much attention to it because I don't own a Honda but sometimes breeze through such articles because it can pertain to toads and I'm always interested in things that might pertain to the subject.
The suggestion is to hold the "unlock" button on the key fob until the horn beeps. I'm not sure if that will keep it unlocked or whether you can then lock the doors, etc. but you might fool around with it to see.
The other suggestion they give --and it would probably be a hassle to do every time-- is to use a flathead screwdriver and insert it into a slot on the underside of the steering column and push up to manually release it. I'm not sure of your CR-V has that slot or not but something you can check.
