First tow with 18 Durango and 18 London Aire

After getting our London Aire on Spartan K3 chassis with 605 and air line already set up for air force one we can report first test drive a big success. After reading on GC and Durango having wobble issues didn't know what would happen. Did use a clamp for receiver on tow attachment and with all new tow bar from Roadmaster everything tight which might be part of the problem some are having with wobble problem. Right now we would say the Durango is a excellent choice for tow if you want 3 rows of seats and no after market attachments to add for towing. It did take us some time to find this Durango with 2 speed transfer case for flat towing. Did have to get Hemi engine to get special transfer case but that makes it more enjoyable when using it for driving.

Im having the hardest time deciding what toad to get! The Durango is certainly in the top three but I'm not certain I want to spend that much on a toad were going to be using and using hard. We're going on the road for a year and want to do it right the first time. Glad to hear your experience has been great so far.

Just drove another 300 miles with Durango and Air Force One Brake and all good news. Durango tows well, AFO works great, and new London Aire with Spartan chassis and 605 Cummins a real pleasure to drive. Nice set up.
