Flat tow guide

Does anyone have a copy of the old remco towing database That was so important for trying to determine if a older out of warranty car is towable?

I’m not sure what you’re asking, but here’s a link back for years and years of what different vehicles can be flat towed in any given year.

Thanks

The Remco guide was searchable database of all vehicles that were towable wether or not the manurafectur approved them for towing. The lists that are put out now isent nearly complete and if your looking at older cars it"s near impossible.
I guess there was some sort of pressure put to bare on Remco to stop.

It was more a case of Remco leaving that segment of the industry, and removing their database.

Maintaining the database and potentially defending themselves in court if they were wrong was expensive (research & testing labor). Then they shed the driveline disconnect business, so had no motivation to keep up with that. Next they dropped the transmission lube pump product and lost all interest.

I realize the reasons they stopped, I just thought I'd see saved the database. that was a loss of great asset.
