Flat towing 2012 grand cherokee with quadra lift

I just started flat towing my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I thought I read where you are supposed to put the Quadra Lift suspension height in the "park" position. Now I cannot find where it says to do that. I am not talking about the transmission in park (that must be done also) but the height of the vehicle.

Anyone towing the GC with Quadra lift who can point me to the section of the manual??

Jeff, I am pulling a 2011 GC. but it doesn't have the Quadra lift. I think if you read through some of the threads here, what you will find, they will tell you that the tow bar should be level. Other, than that, what you have read in the manual, is all that should be needed.

I just started towing a 13 JGC. Page 567 of my owners manual briefly discusses the Quadra-Lift.

I tow a 2013 JGC with Quadra Lift and I have researched towing issues extensively. I haven't seen or heard anything regarding putting the suspension in park for towing.

I tow a 2012 JGC with Quadra Lift and I have never seen anything about having to do anything with it for flat towing, just follow the instructions in the manual.
There is an issue IF it's on a trailer and the frame is tied down, maybe that is what you are remembering?

Exactly right. That is where I saw it before. If it is tied down on a flatbed it needs to be in the park quadra lift position. For flat towing the bar just needs to be level.
