Flat towing a 2008 Lincoln MKX

Does anyone tow a 2008 Lincoln MKX?

I recently bought a Caddy SRX, but it was a 2007 and only later year SRXs can be flat towed. Regardless of that, the car was in the shop more than not in the shop for the first 6 weeks of my ownership, so I towed it back to the dealership, and forced them to replace it.

I wound up after a lot of haggling, and just a couple bucks, with a 2008 Lincoln MKX.

Now, I wonder if I can flat tow it. I have an electronic version of the manual, and it seems to contradict itself in that page 216 says flat tow is okay, but pages 262 and 263 seem to indicate it is bad to flat tow...
