If the AWD V falls thru then don't despair - thinking its required for 4 down towing; many of us tow a FWD CRV (AWD is mighty scarce here in the deep south).

Honda CR-V towing

2013 & 2014 are the last two years that can be 4 wheels down towed. We have a 2013 and the owners manual describes the process you need to go through before you start to tow. We also have a charge wire from the coach to the Honda to keep the battery charged as the ignation needs to be in auxilary key mode. Have TST tire pressure sensors on the Honda as well.

The question was about a CRV with 4WD not AWD

There is a difference. I suspect both are towable but not sure about 4WD.

All late model towable CR-V's are AWD of not FWD...... there is no transfer case. People will say 4WD but it's really not. I cannot vouch for the older ones but I have never heard of a real 4WD CR-V like a Jeep.

CR-V never came as a 4WD they were all AWD. And there is a difference.

What is the proper fuse? My NAV and Center console display stays on with key in acc position. How do I get them to go out? I just set up my CRV to tow.

Accessory fuse #19.

If you are handy you can rig up a switch. It's the way our 2013 is set-up. Makes it a whole lot easier.

Turn off the audio and therebis a Nav selector for day / night / off. That should blank the main screen. The small one up on the dash I select the screen with the least graphics ( forget it thats just the clock or bar at bottom of screen) but haven't found a way to completely shutbdown.
I installed a charge line to toad batty and don't bother pulling any fuses.
