Flat towing K3500 GMC/Chevy

Does any one out there have any experience flat towing a one ton 4X4 GMC/Chevy automatic pickup?

We have towed a 2012 GMC K1500 for over 33,000 miles behind our diesel pusher motorhome without a problem. Our truck is equipped with a 5.3 gas engine and automatic transmission.
It is not a one-ton but I hope this helps.

What does your owners manual say? I tow our Avalanche with no problems. Your's will probably work too.

What questions do you have? My son pulls his '07 4x4 Duramax CC Dually with no issues. Blue Ox removable tow brackets...

Another Silverado (1500) tower here. These trucks (the 4x4 version) were meant to be towed. Easy to set up and rock steady on the road. As long as your coach has a sufficient tow rating, you are golden.

The 2014s and later have a different procedure (I think you have pull a fuse). On our 2013 just put the transfer case in neutral, turn off the ignition and remove the key, and take off the parking brake. We use the Blue Ox baseplates that I installed myself, very simple. We also use a Blue Ox tow bar (I would probably go with roadmaster next time) and an Air Force 1 brake.
