Flat towing Question

I have been carrying my Honda silver Wing scooter on the back of my 08 40' Fleetwood Excursion with a Versa Haul Motorcycle carrier with this being the only transportation.
In June we are leaving for a 6 month trip and plan to add flat towing my 2 door Wrangler .
My question is ..... the Versa Haul is set up with a 2" receiver on the back of the hitch , would it be reasonable to slide my Blue Ox Aventa tow Bar on the back of Versa haul and Tow the jeep and carry the Scooter ?
The Hitch on the MH HAS 1000 LB tongue weight capacity and a 10,000 lb towing capacity.
Engine is an 8.3 ISC Cummins 360 hp.

Well Sir,
I'm not very familiar with the Versa haul but, we've done EXACTLY what you're thinking of, with our coach, an '04 Itasca Horizon 36GD with the C-7 330HP CAT. Only we used a Hydralift and, carried a 2008 Honda GL 1800 Golding and towed our Jeep Rubicon.

It worked absolutely flawless. It sure is nice to have two modes of transportation, once you're at your destination. And, it's also really nice to have "covered" transportation, in lieu of using bike, when the weather decides to not cooperate.

Now, I don't know the manufacturers limits of the Versa haul. You'd be better off contacting them for true and accurate answers to your inquiry. But, if the Versa Haul is rated for towing while carrying the bike, I'd say you're good to go but, again, a call to them will really reveal the needed info.

If the Versa Haul is rated ok, then you are good to go. I have seen some similar pass though devices and extensions with lower ratings, so best to check the specs with the manufacturer.

With our last coach....we had a scooter on a Versa Haul....and flat towed our CRV.....worked fine
