Ford Escape Hybrid-hard wiring lights for dinghy towing

I want to wire my Escape Hybrid for flat dinghy towing. There seems to be no information about this available any place I have looked. Would appreciate some direction on this application.

Please double check this with Ford, but I don't believe the Hybrid Escape was ever approved for four flat towing.

I've towed my 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid well over 12,000 miles and it is certainly one of the best vehicles to tow. I had my lights done at Camping World.

I am not disputing, but only suggesting that you double check with Ford. I bought a 2012 Ford Escape v6 4x4 and the owners manual said I can flat tow. Now Ford is amending their position and my escape can't be flat towed.
I hope you are right, but I would hate for you to find out the hard way that you should have double checked.

I have a 2006 Ford Escape Hybrid and it is great for flat towing. Over 10,000 miles. Note the "Hybrid" has a CVT transmission.
