I just saw a video where someone was hooking up a Jeep to a town at and they had to do all kinds of adjusting with the gears and a transfer case, he said to get it into toad mode. How complicated is towing my 2011 Ford Flex automatic transmission.

The only definitive answer is in your car's Owners Manual. The procedure can change from year to year.

On my 2012 AWD Flex put it in Neutral and Go! But read your manual. Just because you saw it on the Internet, doesn't make it true.

To tow our Jeep Wrangler, or our Gladiator, all we have to do is shift the transfer case into Neutral and the transmission into Park - hardly what I'd call "all kinds of adjusting"...
