Ford van towing questions

I'm new to rv'ing and need info on towing a van with all wheels down. What are the special needs for this type of toad. I need a cargo van for my wife's craft business. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it can be towed, it probably needs a drive shaft dis-connect.

With a Ford it has to be a AWD or 4X4 with a manual transfer shift to pull 4 down.
Or FWD on a Dolly.

A Transit connect is FWD and will work on a dolly

You need to get down to the specifics of a particular van year/make/model. Few, if any, vans are towable as-is, but most could be with some modifications. Front wheel drive vans generally need to use either a tow dolly or have an expensive transmission lube pump added. Rear wheel drive vans typically need a drive shaft disconnect, also pricey.

Could she use a large SUV instead, e.g. a GMC Acadia or Ford Explorer or Jeep Cherokee? Or a Taho or Suburban? They are 4-down towable in most configurations and years.
