GM Mini Duramax Battery Disconnect

I made up a new disconnect for my 2.8l GM duramax. I really like the Roadmaster solenoid style power disconnect but they cannot handle the amps required for the diesel (per Roadmaster)

This is a compact medium duty switch with the highest amp rating I could find and reasonably priced.

I previously used the cheap disconnect with the green twist knob but it randomly lost connection and left me with no power.. Not a big deal for me to pop the hood and re-tighten but If my wife had the truck she wouldn't know what to do and frankly I wouldn't expect her to.

I made up a mount using a piece of plastic (L shaped) and used the Perko switch mounted on top of the battery. 2-18" battery cables and cannablized a blade type disconnect for the terminal ends

Simple, heavy duty and works flawless
