Grand Cherokee/Durango towing problem?

It has been reported in many forums the issue of towing with a Cherokee because of the electric steering. Since both the Grand Cherokee and Durango have electric steering in 18 has anyone had a issue with flat towing?
Since all 3 have electric steering it seems that all 3 might have flat towing problems. In the Cherokee Jeep has a electric connection that is installed that makes it handle well when flat towing.

Grand Cherokee/Durango towing problem?

Grand Cherokee started in 2016. And yes it started the same problem. Doesn’t appear to be as bad as the Cherokee but still can happen. Jeep is working on a fix for it. (I hope!)

The first reported case of the Grand Cherokee “wobble” was in October 2016 and since then, there are about 40 owners reporting the same problem.

Do a search for the GC wobble and you’ll have many hours of reading.

As of last week, Jeep engineering was working on 2 possible solutions but do not have an ETA for release. If I had to guess I would say by the end of 2018.
