Honda Civic Owners

I fixing to get a 2008 Honda civic and plan on towing it. I would like to hear from Civic owners that are towing them. Pros and Cons would be appreciated. I currently tow a Honda Element and use the procedures that Honda sent me for that.
Yes, I already know that Honda says NO, so pls don't tell me this as I am looking for info.

Haven't towed our '08 Civic either four down or on a dolly as the '05 Ody is still doing just fine after 10 years of towing both on a dolly and the last four or five years four down.

I have been towing my 2008 Civic MT for 3 years without issues. I don't know about towing one with an automatic.

Been towing a 2001 Civic Auto with no problems.

Towed our 05 Civic for 9 years. The only problem we had was finding a big enough drop hitch to get the tow bars level. To tow with the automatic, you have to warm up the transmission going through the gears (reverse can not be the last gear) leaving it in neutral. Turn key off, don't leave in acc. position or you add miles to the odometer. Repeat the process every 5 hours or 250 miles.
