Honda Element Toad Base Plate

I have a Roadmaster Blackhawk towing system and am looking for the proper base plate for my 2009 Honda Element. I have seen an XL 1541-3 and an MX 1541-5. Does anyone have any experience installing either one? If so, did you install it yourself or have it installed?

I went with the XL and also ordered this for a cleaner setup and faster hook up plus my rock guard will also fit.

I installed the 1541-3 on my 2007 Element myself. Fairly straight forward. I sent U a personal email yesterday.

Actually there are only two difference betwene the three brackets for the Element , on the 1541-5 it is the connecting arms, on the 1541-1 and 1541-3 it is step 12 in the instructions for the 1541-3 a difference in how to cut the opening for the arm inserts all bolts spacers and metal prices are the same.
There is a set of brackets for sale in the classified.
