I just found out last week that I can't use my car as a toad and am really bummed. Any suggestions on small-mid size automatic cars with decent horsepower that can be towed flat? I'm planning to full-time in August and still work (in the military). I appreciate your comments and will try to find that Motorhome toad list in the meantime.

Hello fellow Infiniti owner. I too was curious about this. I love my FX but I don't know how well it would tow 4 down. I've also toyed with idea of when it's time of just trailering it. I guess we'll see. Anyway, I wish I had an answer but alas I don't.

If you are adventurous, a Wrangler is a great toad.
4-down, xfer case in N, trans in P, lock and roll.
They are great over-all vehicles that allow you to go where most peeps dont, and see wildlife and scenery the most wont.
