Jeep Cherokee electrical wire harness?

Need some help:
I have 92" jeep Cherokee XJ with electrical hook up for trailer tow (7blade) (Hopkins 42455) https://www.amazon.com/Hopkins-42455.../dp/B0002Q7ZH8 already installed on rear bumper. Trailer wire harness only works when lights are turned on.
Will I need a separate electrical wire harness kit such as:(Hopkins #55999) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...KIKX0DER&psc=1 for towed behind rv? If so, will both wire harnesses work without disconnecting wires or interference with each other? Or in other words, will I need to have two wire systems: one for towing & the other to be towed...

Thanks

Simple answer is yes. You will need a harness from the front of the Jeep to the rear taillights. That can be either a diode protected harness or one where you install a separate bulb in the light assembly. The two harnesses will not interfere with each other if the added harness is diode protected or totally separate.
