Jeep Cherokee towing failure

Help. Has anyone ever experienced this? I have a 2014 Jeep Cherokee. I outfitted my former RV with Air Force 1 braking system. Towed 5 years and worked great. Bought a new diesel RV had Air Force 1 installed on the coach. The brake light switch on the Jeep broke the first time I towed it. Had it fixed towed fine second trip and now same thing happened the 3rd time I’ve towed my Jeep. The Jeep gets stuck in tow mode and shift lever gets stuck in Park. Currently in dealer for second repair and nervous about towing again. Anyone have similar problem?

Not sure what you are doing to brake things. It has to be something to do with how you have things hooked up.
I've been toading mine from new, that's why I bought it, to Toad. I am using the Roadmaster Brakemaster system with break away system.
The only issues I've had is forgetting to install the brake pedal actuator. and having the battery go dead, but since then I installed a trickle charger for that.
