Jeep Grand Cherokee as a Toad

I may be interested in the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee that is towable for down. My question are:

- does the vehicle need a power cord from the rig

- second question is can it be left in tow mode for multiple days while still hooked up to the rig with the rig turned off overnight and not have battery issues

I appreciate your input. My Ford Expedition currently has to have a power cord and it has to be taken out of tow mode every time you’re gonna be stopped for any period of time or you’ll end up with battery issues. I’m looking to solve this problem.

We are towing the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee and based on my research it does require the power cord From the coach (this is where you get the brake, turn, stop and running lights) but since the configuration for the flat tow mode is a manual one, you will not have to do anything different to continue towing until you change the transfer case and convert back to active drive status.
