Jeep Liberty to heavy for Gas MH

I am going to buy a 2012 Jeep Liberty 4X4, it has 81000 miles and in perfect shape. It looks like it just came off the show room floor.
I now tow a 91 Geo Tracker 4x4 that only weighs 2800 pounds, the ride isn't very wife friendly.
Will the Liberty be to heavy at 4200 pounds for My Itasca 30W W22 chassis 8.1 vortex?
Was looking at a2015 jeep Cherokee trailhawk, sounds like there are too many problems and it is twice the money.

Thanks for any thoughts,
John

That's just shy of 5000 combined weight.

That's what I tow and no problem. Been over all the mountains out west, and haven't had to go around one yet. When you wire the towing lights put in separate bulbs and sockets in the bottom of the tail lights.

We tow a 2003 liberty with a 2008 Bay Star. NO problems we live in the west so mountain towing is our norm. The only difference in towing and not towing is MPG.
The liberty is very easy to hook up and a nice small toad to get around in.

We towed our ~5000 lb Jeep all over the West behind heavy 37' gasser on Ford chassis with V10 engine. It got the job done.
