We would trade a Infiniti coupe so back seats are issue there too. I think we need to do the 4 door with grandkids and such. So far I am not getting what I think is appropriate pricing on the Jeep to pull the trigger. We may wait till retirement before we get a toad. We are currently having fun gearing our trips around bike trails and close proximity to towns.

Our '08 JK (no 'U', it's a 2 door) scaled at 4140 lbs. As I recall the 4 door as weighed at the brochure was not a lot heavier, something like 4700 or so. I would strongly vote for the 4 door when you get around to buying one. It's far more practical and I wish I had one instead of our JK.

We will get a 4 door when the time comes. I am going to drive my current car for another year. 90 mile commute per workday as long as I am still working.

We just purchased a Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. Our initial trip it towed really well. Most of the time didn't even realize it was back there.

Very true, our 2016 Sahara two door rag top weighed in at 4,160 our 19 JLU hard top Sahara is 4,510

If you can tow the additional 400 lbs the four door is more practical imo.

We JUST pulled the trigger on ours: got a 2017 Wrangler Unlimited Sport for just under $24K. Now we're looking to add the towing stuff so it can ride behind our Bounder...

Our 2016 rag top 2 door (manual tranny) is still for sale at a dealer, it is ready to tow! I think they paid me too much, inside scoop they paid us 26k, it has about 2k worth of base plate, brakes, tail light wiring, and relay.

At Jim Hudson Toyota in Irmo SC
