Jeep Wrangler: Mushy brake pedal from AFO?

Has anyone towing a late model Jeep JL with Air Force One noticed the brake pedal is softer than when first purchased?

Just wondering if there is a connection to AFO. I know a bad booster exhibits a stiff pedal not a soft pedal.

Would like to hear your experiences and thoughts.
Regards

Both of my JKs had soft brake pedals both before and after installing an M&G brake.

Using AF1 on my 2018 JL and have not noticed any difference in the Jeep.

Just got rid of out 2017 and never saw a softness in the brake pedal. Now travel did increase with wear but that is normal. We towed that Wrangler 20k or so miles with AF1.

2021 Rubicon JL Diesel. Took it in for a soft pedal and they told me it should be towed to whomever modified the brake system and restored to factory before they would warranty it. Claim tapping the vacuum line for the AF1 is the issue.

That would be an issue only if one of the check valves in the vacuum lines was failing. If both check valves are operating correctly it should be like the AF1 system isn't even there.
You can get replacement valves from eTrailer. An easy replacement.

I thought that might come up.

That was one question I had, thanks. Both check vales work and installed correctly.

So that leaves air n the lines and or ABS to lok at.

Thanks everyone

I think the important thing is they will not warranty repair any part of the brake system if the AF1 is connected to the vacuum system.

I've had 3 check valves fail in the last year and a half. When mine fail, I get engine fault codes.
