Hi Mark,

Glad to see that you are still towing your Miata.

It's been 5 years since we conversed while you were getting things set up. You ought to be VERY experienced now.

How has your Miata towing experience gone?

We are still towing our NC PRHT, but recently added an inherited Chevy Equinox to the towing stable. We use it when we need more than 2 seats.

Let me know how you are doing.

Tim

We had two sets of knee pads in the S&B, tossed one set into our rig. When we sold the house and went full time, we only gave away one pair.

I have a couple of sleeping pads left over from our tent camping days. I keep them rolled up with a Velcro strip and use them any time I have to get on the ground such as hooking up the Mini on its Dolly or getting under the rig. They also work great in the winter as an insulated place to stand while I'm getting my ski boots on in the ski are's parking lot. They work lots better than they ever did for sleeping on.

My truck connections are pretty high off the ground, so I don't need one, but I do have a 20" x 6" x 8" chunk of foam next to my tool box. I use it for any projects that are easier to access while kneeling. I also have two of the same size pieces at home that I use all the time.

I carry and use a kneeling pad, too. It comes in quite handy when putting blocks under the jacks. I also have a foam rubber mat like the kind that you would see in front of the kitchen sink at home. I use that to lay on when I have to crawl under the coach.

Good point on the mats. I carry a straw type yoga mat. Rolls up very small and deploys easy. Also will slide some depending on the surface like a poor mans creeper.
