Leaking rack and pinion

Has anyone experienced rack and pinion seal failure towing on a stehl dolly?
We have towed our 09 Hyundai Sonata thousands of miles. Yesterday while unloading from dolly a stream of oil appeared. Going to our local Hyundai dealer tomorrow.

We have a Stehl as well, and it is a pivot pan dolly. Is the pan pivoting on the big bolt that is in the center of the pan, as you turn a bend? The front tires are strapped to the pan, so as you turn a bend the car will force the pan to pivot on the bolt.

Only two ways I could think of dolly putting pressure on the steering:
1.) The pivot pan isn't pivoting, forcing the car steering to try and turn as you go around a bend.
2.) You are making really tight turns, and the pivot pan is pivoting but hitting the turn stops....and then putting pressure on the car steering.

Do you straighten out your pan, before reloading the car, if the pan is not in the straight forward position?

HR if the seal is not completly destroyed Lucas power steering stop leak it wont make a seal but it will fix a damage seal, at Walmart for under $10 and a lot cheaper than the dealer visit. I have used this on power steering with good suscess also their transmissions seal fix and on my tractor hydrolic lift seal leak, good stuff.

The pan moves but it is tight. Not long ago I removed the pan and cleaned all the crud out. Made a really sharp turn at last rv park. When I got parked front wheels were turned. Had not pulled forward in our spot to get the tray to straighten out. Time to clean again I suspect.
