License plate bracket for EZ Tow dolly
Has anyone bought this accessory and installed it? I can't for the life of me figure how this installs using the 2 bolts at the back of the dolly fender.

Have you checked with your home state to see if it's even necessary? I emailed our Department of Finance and Administration and asked if tow dollies were licensed and got a return email they they were not. I printed that and carried it with my registrations.

Don't know anyone who has plates on a tow dolly. I don't and have been thru half the states .
My understanding is that it is towed equipment, like a mortor mixer, log splitter.......

I’ve never lived anyplace that requires the dolly to have a license plate, that said, I don’t see how one would easily attach to ours.
I would contact EZ Tow directly and ask them. They have pretty good customer assistance.

I thought that surely I had seen a plate on a tow dolly, so I googled images, did not see a one. When I googled "two wheel car tow dolly license plate" - seems to suggest not required.

Per CA DMV:
"Tow dollies don’t need to be registered. Tow dollies no longer require decals and may be registered under the Permanent Trailer Identification (PTI) program (optional). If the owner converts to PTI, the tow dolly should display a PTI plate or a regular plate with a PTI sticker."
I don't even remember now why I decided to register the dolly in the PTI but I did. The registration doesn't have to be renewed every year as vehicles do. I was issued a plate so thought I should display it.

My Kar Kaddy has a folding license bracket/light in the center of the wheel tray. Ohio doesn't require the dolly to be licensed because the towed vehicle is licensed and has wheels on the ground.
If you think about the dolly/trailer converters like FedEx and UPS use to tow doubles, those aren't licensed either...
