Lights and power for readybrake system

Iím in the process of installing a readybrake controller and tow bar to tow a 2015 expedition behind a Jayco Seneca. Wondering what the preferred methods for lighting and/or charging system for the car people are using?

RV supplies power to '16 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

I used a wiring harness from Hopkins and was actually cheaper from the shop that installed the base plate. Required having to run wires to the back lights but well worth it because it had factory plugs to tie into existing harness. eTrailer.com also carries a harness that you splice into existing wires and uses diodes. They have a few options from yours https://www.etrailer.com/tbwiring-20...Expedition.htm. I had to add a brake relay so turn signals would work while brake is applied. Not sure if the diodes from etrailer does that for yours. You may want to check you tube to see if someone shows how they set up their toad. Good luck and happy trails.
