Looking for a Used Car Trailer For Sale

I have been looking for a good used enclosed trailer to tow behind my Dynamax grand Sport 420. I am looking for a 8.5 w x 24 lg. trailer.

Does anyone know where I might find one?

Hi Rodie, I looked for over a year, most want to much, and most all the trailer's I looked at, did not quite fit my needs. I ended up specing a new one out, custom made, and could not of been happier when it rolled in my driveway the day it was delivered.......
Middlebury Trailers

This is where I ordered it from Touch of Class Trailers , Dave is great to work with........
The greatest thing, I was able to design the entire unit to my needs........
Good luck in your search!
You can see photo's of the trailer here http://www.irv2.com/forums/f58/my-ne...ed-203681.html

You can post a Wanted ad in the IRV2 Classified area.

Lots of good trailers out there. Used are problematic. Best to buy a new one. You can go from quite economical to really nicely appointed.

Your towing capacity should be quite high so a steel frame trailer may work. Heavy but less costly.

Lenght may be an issue depending upon where you plan to tow. Some states have punitive length requirements as short as 60'.

I looked for a long time for Used trailers, one site I found some I would consider is this

Towing/Trailers, Used Trailers for sale on RacingJunk Classifieds - 674 available

In the end, since I wanted a front ramp door to load my Harley, I ordered mine and had it in 6 weeks with exactly how I wanted. Good luck.

I had a 8.5x24 King American built in 2012! I couldn't ask for a better trailer! I had an escape door put in the street side, an oversized door on the curb side, drop down jacks in the rear corners and 5200# sprung dexter axles! It tows wonderful. Jay

Here is a nice one. If I didn't already have one setup with a builtin 5.5kw generator, air compressor, AC, electric awning, work bench with tool chest, and just painted it to match our coach, I would have bought this one.

Guess it depends where you live. We still don't lock our home unless we are going to be gone for a week. Keys are left in our vehicles in our yard. Sometimes the trailer is locked, but mostly not. Probably not the smartest, but nothing of value missing in 50+ years.
