Have had the M&G on three Avalanches. after the 1st one, I traded it in for a new one to fit the 2nd one. I transferred the 2nd to the 3rd one myself. Pretty easy swap. It has been perfect on every one. It takes less than 30 seconds to up the air hose and breakaway cable. As long as I have a DP, I will have M&G.

Looking at purchasing a 2021 Canyon to flat tow, we tow a 2500 HD long bed so we’re 73’ overall, makes me
nervous in tight areas. Blue Ox and Airforce on 2500 really like it. We close to Athen’s Tx so probably be calling M & G on next one.

Another fan here. I'm taking my new toad to them in a couple of weeks for rigging.

We've had our M&G brake system for 7 years, and have had it transferred from one Jeep Wrangler to another. M&G was happy to provide my local shop with guidance on removal and reinstallation. Would purchase M&G again without hesitation.

Never any problems and easy to hook up.

I am a huge fan of M&G.

- M&G only works on RVs with air brakes, which include most Diesel Pushers.

- M&G original, the simple one that plugs directly into your master cylinder, does not work on every toad. Contact M&G website for compatibility with your toad.

- If you can keep your steering column from locking, like I can in my Wrangler with a dummy key, then you don't have to leave on any electronics so there is ZERO battery drain on your toad.

- My DIY video installing M&G on my Jeep: https://youtu.be/z36u5R7nK-Q

- My DIY video installing wiring harness for taillights on my Jeep: https://youtu.be/sSJjYyiQyzA

- I have no affiliation with M&G whatsoever.

M&G

I also love the M&G system. Ease of hookup, reliability. But, has anybody tried to contact them in the last 4 months? I tried but the phones were turned off.

M&G for 17 Years - 2004 Ford Explorer behind Prevost 40'
2008 Buick Enclave behind Newmar Essex.

All worked well together.

Great unit - easy to install and hook-up.

Using Brake Buddy now with Honda Fit behind 25 ft Class C (What a pain!)

From the FWIW department:
M&G offers kits for RVs with hydraulic brakes also, however a source of on board air is required. Our coach has hydraulic 4 wheel disc brakes and air suspension. The M&G system can work with or without air brakes in nearly all RVs with air suspension. They also offer an air compressor system for coaches without air, but at that point other braking systems probably make more sense.

Have had M&G System on my jeep liberty for 12 years and never a problem. I will say that on one occasion if I did not have brakes on the toad it would have brought me to the scene of the accident.

Have used now for 10 years to tow my Jeep Wrangler JK. Firstly with a Class A DP with air brakes and the past 3 years with a Class C gasser with hydraulic brakes and an auxiliary MG supplied compressor. No problems at all. Good product. Good people.
